Disco Biscuits at Thursday in the Square
at Thursday in the square with (e:heidi), my coworker Sameer. It was so packed with hippies. I didn't like the song when we arrived but the music got pretty jamin by the time it ended. I can't decide if the music stepped it up a bunch (which I think happend) or if I had "beer headphones" on. Either way it way an awesome thursday in the square. The crowd went crazy trying to get an ovation and finally after like 5 minutes they came back out. Somehow I forgot to take pictures from my phone so I stole this pic off their website for your viewing pleasure.

In general, the crowd was one of the most drugged and drunk crowds I have seen at the square but what do you expect from hippies. Then again I haven't been going as much as I used to, maybe its just like that now.
I love the four blocks of misanthropes and misguided youth that line main street, north of the venue and put on their own event. There were street performers, dancers, and of course the crazy militant christians were still there.
I realized for the first time last night that even though they are protesting, some of them probably secretly enjoy going and not just to "save souls." I mean imagine, you have the choice to protest reality at the mall, or at thursday in the square with all the people and music and craziness. Its probably the only concerts they get to "go to." okay, maybe besides Kingdom Bound but honestly I think those particular people would find Kingdom Bound blasphemous.
The best part was watching this 15 y/o inner city girl telling some adult protester that her slutty top didn't have any effect on her relationship with jesus because he forgave her.

Thursday In The Square

After work, I headed over to Thursday In The Square with (e:matthew) and (e:terry) For a free event it is really awesome no matter who the band is. I love Thursday In The Square, especially, since I can walk there and back in about 10 minutes.

The jesus people keep recruiting younger and younger dudes. Not to mention cuter and cuter ones, no nasty ladies in bonnets this year. Remember Hottie McJesus (e:paul,32654)

What the fuck (how unprofessional: what is wrong with you paul?) is the buffalo flag.
I saw one flying at Thursday In The Square. Since when do cities have flags and why is it so freakin' ugly. Holy crap, they cost $50.00
what is it raising money for. I bet with a nicer design they could sell more. Both (e:matthew) and I didn't like it. Sorry if you designed it.At Thursday In The Square there was a guy that looked so much like (e:matthew) His friends also tried to get a pic of them both.

(e:mike) and (e:amanda) came out, she has a great video of her that I think she is going to try and post soon.

(e:terry) making funny faces

Walking back the subway was packed so we walked. There was some sort of fight that resulted in an ambulance.

I really upped the quality on the compression for this one which unfortunately made it 13MB.
The Flynn and Friends logo looks nice in the dusk. I really want a bright orange estrip neon tube sign. I wonder how much energy they use.

As May closes, I have to ask myself what has changed about my life that in 2005 I wrote 97 journals in May and in 2006 I wrote 54 journals in May but this year I only managed to get 26 written. My life must be so much more boring now. I am going to go back to 97 next year ;) The truth is I think my entries are much longer now. I save up more media because of the higher res camera and then post the all at once, instead of like before when I posted everything right from the phone. I hope the iPhone can change that.

Updated Life

This girl at Thursday in the square seems to have drawn all over her pants. Everyone was trying to read them.

We stood around, (e:terry) ,(e:mike) , (e:beast) and I.

The tea party was pretty good.
I took two videos. One has mike and terry the other some crowd.
This dude was super buff. I want to look like him but I can't donate that much time to excercise.

After the square

On the workout front my legs are getting buffer. This pic need to be edited. It looked more opaque on my laptop screen.
Friday turns out, willbe very busy.

Thursday Crusaders

I started out the evening with (e:enknot) at his friedns house, but there was a cat. Then we went to the square and (e:mike) showed up and I decided to walk around a bit.

Metropolis Mike

(e:mike) also suffers from allergies like me

This guy has a belt made out of bullets. I think its is gross.

I entertained myself with the Satan worshippers.
There were so few protestors this week and only one sign.

(e:libertad) and I felt bad for the cute one. He needed some liberation. (e:libertad) tried to give him his phone number but the kid asked him if he was a homo and wouldn't accept it.
Hotty McJesus

Watch this video - this man goes nuts on the "christians" and then the police pull him off them at the end.

Smashmouth at Thursday in the Square
This 'tiny' little white boy goes up to (e:enknot) and asks him if he just started skting and if it's a new board. (e:enknot) said he had it for a bit. The the kid asked if he could Ollie. 3:knot said ya, then he asked if (e:enknot) could kickflip finally if he could just have the skateboard. Who does that?

More people showed up for Smash Mouth. I wonder how many people will leave to see the Sabres Game. I have pretended to like hockey so much its insane. Thank god for (e:knot) or I would sound like an idiot.
People were beating the shit out of each other in the mosh pit and throwing their shoes up in the air.
More sounds from Smash Mouth. The skipping is from when I was checking my email. I think it maxed out the processor doing both on the phone. The song everyone wanted to hear is at the end of that one.
The baja sausage bar at Roswell was so good today. Sorry (e:jenks), I didn't see the text message about meeting for lunch until I was at Thursday in the square. I had accidentlly set a soundless video as my ringtone.

I hadn't read the fine print re: the Harbor shows until today - their website clearly says $10 in advance, and $20 the day of the show. :::link::: I wonder how many people realize this? Or that you have to get these tickets from Ticketmaster or the downtown office if you want the $10 advance ticket?
Nice to see (e:joshua), (e:jason) & (e:drew) in our travels.
