I thought I was high tech with my sidekick but check out the stuff at dynamism They carry the new Sony u70, a 1.2 lb minitop that has a 20GB hard drive and runs windows XP.

This is my new vaio mini-top

I already wrote about the mini Vaio that I got from Holly. Its only 300mHz but it runs Suse 8.2 well and I can code and surf the internet on it. Plus it only weighs about 800 grams. Here it is with Tina using it. I ordered some new parts that should come early this week.

Computer Craziness

While in the middle of updating the site and working on some wirefusion stuff for my class, my brother stopped by in need of a hard drive upgrade for his iBook 500 mHz. It came with a 10.0 GB drive but he needs more space for a movie he is working on. I decided to give him my old drive figuring it was a snap to replace. Well, it took about 4 hours so far and the drive looks like - well like this picture

So here we are with his computer completely taken apart.
