I also started writing my thesis finally. I have made it about 10 pages long today only 50 more to go. Tomorrow I am taking the plunge and buying Verizon Business DSL service to host the site at home. If it doesn't work I am going to cry. If anyone feels like donating to help defray the cost you can click ont he donate button at the top of the page. Or maybe someone knows of somewhere with some dark fibre I can use for free. That would be even better.

It is about $99/month but having it at home might mean that I have more free time n my life and can also offer better services. The only thing is that I hope 768k up is going to be enough.

Yesterday night, I was walking home from the Artvoice Music festival when I saw that a friend of mine from France had signed on. We hadn't talked in a long time so I sent her an IM. She prompty said "Der Schiff ist in dem Wasser" and then signed off. That mean sthe ship is in the water, although it may be some idiom I cannot locate the definition of.

Anyways, so she signs off an dlike ten minutes later some other person signs on and starts IMing me in german but makes no sense. I ask them if they are "auf Drogen" and they reply I am not a dragon. they also tell me that EMilie is now a man. If figured it couldn't be write and so when they signed on again I tried in English. Still no real sucess locating her.

The birthday party went really well. A lot of people came by and people managed to mingle and all get along.

On another note, Sara's friend Bob gave us this picture when we were in San Diego.



He told me that he wanted it to go around the world. So I am trying to fulfill his wish and bought zigzagman.com

Last night i saw Emily Keating for the first time in about 4 or 5 years. It was crazy to see her so out of the blue. She seems to be doing good and is living in Ashville. She just got back from traveling around the world and around the country with her boyfriend Evan, who I think may be alergic to everything, something I can appreciate. I was happy to hear that she remembered me talking about a serious erosion of civilian privacy in relation to the government. It all started because I was reading about the new US policy of fingerprinting foreigners at the border.

I started saying about how we are only a step away from tatoos and camps and she said that she rembered having this same conversation years ago. So I guess I don't change much.
