Old brick building on virgina place

I really like this one. I kind of wish my house was that size and style.

Blackberries and Apples

The candy apple from the Broadway Market was amazing. Four green apple with caramel and chocolate covered in pecans.

I also added one more meat to the blackberry bowl. This time grass fed steak. I love steak but I think I prefer blackberries with fish or white meat.

Butter lambs

We headed over to the Broadway Market for butter lambs. The meat part if the market was far superior to what we visited on grant street a couple weeks ago.

They had these awesome Mohawk style hats but they were all too small. I ended up with the best pecan and chocolate candied apple.

A plagues worth of flying ants decended on the backyard. It seems the girl ones were much bigger than the guy ones. Here they are mating on terry.

Basra the tortoise hides in the roses

The damn tortoise always burries himself in a holr he digs under the rose thorns. It makes me so angry. I almost suspect he knows this and hopes I just leave him outside overnight. Unfortunately for both of us it's just to cold still for overnights.

The man with the musical butt

We went for a bike ride at the park. (e:KeithT) has a new attachable speaker that Cyndi got him for his birthday. Its actually really loud. I think Dave D might like one if these for camping. Its amazing how nasty the scajaquada sludge gets.

The Country of Sicily

Pretty sure Sicily was not a country in 1997 when my grandfather's death certificate was filled out at Millard Fillmore.

100 years of farmers - geneology stevanato

I was going through a lot of the family documents I scanned while Nonna was alive.

I found this one document that maps a hundred years of Nonna's lineage issued back in 1941. It goes back even further though.

At the top it says, "Dai Registri Parrocchiali esistenti in questo Archivio, risulta la seguente discendenza ultracentenaria della famiglia di agricoltori." Which according to google means, "the parish registers exist in this archive is the following hundred years, descendants of the family of farmers"

Its neat to find out their names.
Grandfather: Giorgio Armenia (07/04/1915)
Grandmother: Pierina Stevanto (06/29/1915)
married 01/31/1948

Great Grandfather: Fortunato Stevanto (06/14/1878)
Great Grandmother: Teodolina Rizzato

Great, Great Grandfather: Antonio Stevanato (02/08/1850)
Great, Great Grandmother: Teresa Casarin

Great, Great, Great Grandfather: Pasquale Stevanato (10/03/1809)
Great, Great, Great Grandmother: Furlan Maria

Great, Great, Great, Great Grandfather: Angelo Stevanato (05/08/1789)
Great, Great, Great, Great Grandmother: Margherita Battiston

Great, Great, Great, Great, Great Grandfather: Pasqualin Stevanato (05/08/1789)
Great, Great, Great, Great, Great Grandmother: Girolima Salviato OR Salviato Girolima. Its weird because the other names on the document are lastname, first but salviato doesn't sound like a woman's name.
