What does israel expect?

Israel shocked by Obama's "betrayal" of Mubarak

Political commentators expressed shock at how the United States as well as its major European allies appeared to be ready to dump a staunch strategic ally of three decades, simply to conform to the current ideology of political correctness....

To win popular Arab opinion, Obama was risking America's status as a superpower and reliable ally.

"Throughout Asia, Africa and South America, leaders are now looking at what is going on between Washington and Cairo. Everyone grasps the message: "America's word is worthless ... America has lost it.

I think they should instead be shocked that we ever supported Mubarak and other dictators in the first place. While the U.S. is well known for supporting dictators, it is totally antithetical to our ideals.

What to they want? U.S. military intervention against people protesting for democracy in order to protect a dictator who supported Israel. It doesn't even make any sense. The real reason they are angered is because it is finally showing that Israeli issues are not our primary problem and that we can support the values our government should support - like democracy - over blind support for Israel. I hope this is the first step, in stepping away from Israel altogether.

Chuckie Cheese

We took zooey to Chuckie Cheese today for her birthday the other day. They have this game called namco game called flammin finger that I am now obsessed with. It looks like I could get the deluxe version on eBay for about $2000. This unlike the watch in the previous entry is Retro in a good way.

Retro or Trash?

I couldn't decide if this watch at JCPenny's was supposed to be 80s Retro or if it was just a cheap crappy watch.

Jess is in town - time for Pano's

(e:hodown) just arrived in town tonight. After the airport, we headed down to pianos for dinner. I swear it keeps getting fancier. I got the Lamb which had a nice marrow bone. I found myself craving marrow a lot recently - wonder what that's about

Plows Suck

The annoying fucking church next store hired a plow to plow "their driveway" and lawn. I doubt its legal to drive a truck a half a block down the sidewalk or to plow the lawn.

When he left, he left a two foot high wall of snow across the street. I imagine thats not allowed either. He ended up plowing in the poor girl parked across the road who had to shovel herself out the next morning. They also throw a ton of snow on our driveway when they do this. I spend like two hours shoveling it all back onto their side by hand.

My geographic tongue doesn't have AIDS

The other day part of my tongue decided to attack itself again. The doctor had said it looked like geographic tongue when I went a couple months back.

Of course its just another disease with no known cause or cure and yet another form of my body attacking itself like the crohns. Interestingly, I read this specific condition could be a vitamin deficiency caused by the crohn's. It's weird because I haven't really had any crohn's symptoms since my appendix came out like three years ago.

This week it hurt a bunch so I went to the doctor again today. Before I left, I looked it up online and found a great article about geographic tongue. Then I scrolled to the top and saw it was a freakin AIDS information site!!!

This of course made me totally paranoid. Luckily, it just happened that today was also free instant AIDS testing downtown. Really, there is no reason for me to have AIDS but I figured better know for sure as the last time I was tested was 1999 and there were some sketchy years in the early 2000s.

It came back negative but I am still concerned for my tongue's future although peroxide and tongue scraper seems to be helping.

The whole thing really blows my mind because I could not possibly eat healthier food. I blame it on flossing. I never had trouble before I started flossing every day as the dentist suggested.

Where clam meets beef and egg

I am obsessed with veggie, meet, and noodle bowls now. I have been eating them everyday. Small portions of each thing but lots of flavors. This one had some beef slices, four clams, an egg, Swiss Chard, peas, and carrots in a lemongrass broth.

The nice part is that it only tale like 5 minutes to make too and the noodles are cheap when you buy them in a big package.

Buffalo Botanical Gardens

I love going to the buffalo botanical gardens on a sunny winter day. Its so nice to feel the rays on your face in the Cactus room and the humidity in the rest of it.

I signed up for another membership last time. I gotta get back soon because the ponderosa lemon tree is starting to blume. I think that might be my favorite smell in the world.

Ortiz Tuna at Wegman's

For some reason our Wegmans on Amherst St in the city went from having Ortiz brand tuna in two separate areas to not having it at all.

Luckily, my new favorite Wegmans in West Seneca had it in all three varieties. I love the one in the glass jar so much.

The one in the box is actually the tastiest but I am convinced that its extra delicious fattiness makes it higher in mercury content. Not that I am too worried about that after my mercury test turned up nothing crazy.
