It's not an outtage. It's the formal untangling of Adelphia and the restitching of Roadrunner. Sit tight, engineering types should be through messing with us soon. Watch the mail, the shift from adelphia.net to roadrunner.com is up for this week too

uncutsaniflush writes at 10:19:15 04/29/07 - Comment #17984: Since you brought it up, our wonderful road runner connection has been fucked up since I got up this morning at about 4:30. According to the system logs, it started getting fucked up after 3:54 am when the ip was reset to the current road runner addy.

One of the problems all days has been the more or less constant 3kb upstream speed. That is major suckage.

Additionally, Google and Road Runner don't seem to play nice since we haven't had google mail since 4:30 am. The google people seem to blame roadrunner.

This is not a good introduction to the "reliability" of road runner that I heard tell about.

The thing that amazes me the most is that the powers that be at Time Warner didn't bother to warn anyone about potential problems. I've never seen a server and dns change over not have problems. I think the engineers and/or their bosses had to be mentally ill to expect a seamless transition. But that is just me, as always I could be wrong.
