That is the art I bought I just lost 7 pictures to the site they are to big to really post and shirnking them all takes way to much time on my computer currently so right now posting more pics really won't work som maybe if I get access to a high speed internet acess computer I'll put some more up. What I wanted to do was tell a story with the pictures but I guess I will have to do that with my webshots page I'll let you know when they are put up. If anyone said anything to me in chat I wasn't blowing you off but my chat frezes some times and if loading pictures it dies basicly. Why is it that when I run into people I don't think to break out the camara. I do think this on chick was checking me out at Allentown or maybe it was just my giant cookie.

2006 MIA quick recap

image

image

I will include more pictures later but I'm short on time.

On my way to the bank I ran into (e:Ladycroft) that was a pleasant surprise unlike the artic wind that was Blowing. Then later I ran into Paul, Matt, Terry and Holly and talked for a few.

I like how at MIA they have interactive art that you can watch. Hopefully when I post more pics of bands you will see the pictures behind the stage change or get added two how ever you say that.

I know I heard some bands that I liked who names I don't remember but the ones that I know I liked where The Juliet Dagger and
The Voo Doo Dolies and Klear. Klear has another new lead singer He is a lot better I think then the guy they had last year.

Some of the dancing was really amazing. They had more Poleplay dancing on sunday again. Sorry for scatterd thoughts. The night endend with people who dance to fire to the performance of Robie's band Amungus not sure if I spelled it right. I did buy some art to that when I put it up I will hopefully put up the artists web site. I have tons of pictures and will try to tell the story with out puting up to many of them.

MIA day 1

First of all I ran into 3 peeps. I ran into Walt, Lee and Lee's mom. Then late at night I ran into Chris I can't remember if he posts as chris I know he was at the Holloween party. I thought I saw Tony from a distance. Yeah I admit I didn't think to get the Camara out for lee and walt and I did think about it when I saw chris but my batteries where preaty low and I needed to save what was left for the fire dancing at the end. I ran into a UPS Driver I know from work at one of the food stands that was interesting, I belive it is called Pistol or pistols great baked Potatoe really good.

Not sure what my favorite band was a saw a few I had never heard of. Lisa Loeb was good I actually had heard some of the songs she did that surprised me. Toy Box Heros I think they are called was Preaty good and so was last Conserative. My two favorite things I think where the Stripteasers and Pole Play presents Eye Candy: of course I had trouble with my batteries when girls in langire danced on poles (no nudity it is a family show). Anal Pudding is always interesting.

There was some preaty cool art both there and At Allentown. I will be going back today. I have to see The Juilet Dagger and The Voodo Dollies. Plus maybe buy some more art. No pictures yet but hopefully next week some time. Hope everyone has a great time this weekend.

Date Movie

Last night I watched "Date Movie" on DVD. Everyones sense of humor is differant but I thought it was funny. In some parts it was really out there. Can't really say anything about it with out giving any thing away. I have only seen the movie I havn't watched the outakes or stuff they cut. Sometimes that is the funniest stuff. I was disapointed I wanted to see Alisyon Hanigans nude but no nudity, unless it is hinden in as am easter egg. Oh yeah we survived 6-6-06. Wish I could have came up with a bunch of good topics to talk about then I could have had 666 posts but I couldn't. I love this theme it is really awesome. If you like movies like scary movie or not another teen movie you may enjoy it. Some of the movies it made fun of I hadn't seen but still knew what he movie was, I found that funny.

Aniversary +

Yeah Yeah Yeah, congratulations to me, Yeah. Not really just thought that would be fun to yell that. Somehow yesterday I missed that I've been on (e:strip) for two years. That is kinda hard to belive. A few stats. I have no idea how many pictures I have up here that I've taken and that I've posted from the web. For some reason My Page Has never counted them I belive. In the time since comments I have 257 that is a lot I think. But what is almost impossible to belive is that I have posted 777 coments that is over 100 more journals then I have. I think my no shows to parties is about equal to the ones I've made. But if you count the bar get togathers that I allways mis I'm sure I've missed a lot more then I have made. No actuall count keeping. As long as the weather is ok I'm going to be verry busy going between MIA and Allentown. Who knows maybe I'll run into a few peeps out in the hood. I know it is going to turn expensive quiclkly Just from Picture developing alone. Plus I allways buy something. Below I have some pics of some Tattoo pics I found on line. Maybe at one of these summer festivals I'll get a Henna or temp tattoo. If I wasn't so affraid of needles and the kind of pain or sensation depending on who you talk to I might be able to get one sometime.

Tonight I plan to start watching "Date Movie" I borrowed it from a friend it looks really funny wee shall see. Sometimes those commentaries and deleated scenes are a great bonus. I have seen a couple where the funiest scenes in the movie was left on the cutting room floor.

If there are any Dennis Leary fans I belive Rescue me is on tonight on FX I know they repeat them during the week. Not sure if it starts this weak or last.

Art and News Posts

I was glad to see that the Buffalo News had a story about the Pride Parade. It didn't surprise me, but them not have a story on in it wouldn't have surprised me they had one picture from in in Black and white and then one on the picture page. They also had an iteresting article on 6-6-6 and some of the meaning of it. Another story that I'm surprised they covered but glad they did.

With MIA 06 and The Artfestival coming up this weekend I thought I should include some of the posters or art that I have in my house. I know the pics are not the best sory about that. Maybe sometime this week I'll put up some Farie Tattoo pics. The last pic is one I forgot to post on my pride parade photos.

Pride Parade 06

First of all I think I may have repeated on photo twice and if so I'm sorry about that. I also hope I'm not the only one who posts some pictures. I belive (e:paul) has video. But with my computer there is no point of trying to watch it, it moves so slow.

"time for a little Reflection":

When I walked up to Elmwood I should have walked diffarntly that way I would have came up from behind on the Kleinhans parking lot plus I would have been on the other side of the street. Then I could have taken some parking lot photos and some better shots of the protesters also.

Had battery trouble otherwise I would have more pictures. There was a nice classic car and a few other pictures I would have liked to take.

Thought it was cool that a couple budhists marched with signs.

I was a little surprised when some one I knew called my name, I tried to yell hello back but not sure if she heard me or not or if I was quick enough.

It is kinda strange to watch a parade where there isn't a crowd around you. Wich then led people to come up and give me stuff. I think I have a couple Animals that can get the beads.

I didn't know their was a parade today, untill this morning. I also wasn't sure how long it was going to be. I thought it might be a little bit longer then it was but it seemed to be a good length of time and floats.

i lime

I admit i didn't wind up doing much yesterday. I did wind up hanging out with my sis and downloading music. She has limewire. Then with a little online help I figured out how to open the songs downloaded with itunes. Then they are added to itunes and you can put them on your ipod. I myself never download music. But I also have dail up so that may be one of the reasons why. But generaly CD's I burn are ones that I wouldn't spend the money on. If there is a CD I like I will go buy it. But that being said I think peer sharing is good for the music industry. If some band only has one good song why waste money on the entire CD when you can just download one song. One of these days I need to get a New CD spinner I'm out of room for my CD's. I'm thinking today might become a DVD day. I was thinking about going to the falls yestrday but didn't like the weather that is the same reason I didn't look for more guitars for hope. Maybe later if I don't wind up doing anything I may post some pics, but who knows. I thought I was going to talk more about music then I did oh well.

On line Records there goes our freedom

At the end of this article about us web being choricled I have some of my thoughts It would cool to hear some others thoughts and see if I'm the only one who feals this way.

U.S. wants Web use chronicled

Child pornography, terrorism are targets

By ROBERT SCHMIDT
Bloomberg News
6/2/2006

WASHINGTON - The federal government is asking Internet companies including Microsoft Corp., Google Inc. and America OnLine to preserve the records of customers' Web activity in order to aid investigations of terrorism and child pornography cases.
Attorney General Alberto R. Gonzales and FBI Director Robert S. Mueller III made the request last week at a meeting with industry executives, said Brian Roehrkasse, a Justice Department spokesman. More talks are scheduled for today. Also included in the discussions are representatives from victims' rights groups, privacy advocates and law enforcement officials, he said.

"We have begun initial discussions with Internet service providers and others on this issue of data retention to help the department with bolstering its investigative efforts," said Roehrkasse.

Gonzales is pressing Internet companies for more cooperation as the Justice Department focuses on terrorism and child pornography cases. The move has prompted complaints from privacy advocates and led to a clash earlier this year with Google, the word's largest search engine.

The agency has asked Internet companies to retain records such as lists of e-mails sent and received or information on Web searches. Authorities wouldn't ask the companies to keep the content of e-mails and would use standard legal channels, such as seeking a subpoena, before obtaining information, Roehrkasse said.

The Justice Department has no legal authority to require companies to keep data on their customers and would need to ask Congress for that ability, Roehrkasse said. He said there has been no decision on how long companies would need to store the records.

However, the Associated Press reported that Mueller suggested a period of two years.

New York-based Verizon Communications, the No. 2 U.S. telephone company, and Philadelphia-based Comcast Corp., the largest U.S. cable provider, were among the companies at last week's meeting, Roehrkasse said. AOL is the Internet unit of New York-based Time Warner, the world's largest media company.

Gonzales said in April that Internet service providers had hurt child pornography probes by not keeping data long enough. He said he would personally reach out to chief executive officers of leading providers to resolve the problem.

"The investigation and prosecution of child predators depends critically on the availability of evidence that is often in the hands of Internet service providers," Gonzales said in a April 20 speech at the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in Alexandria, Va. "This evidence will be available for us to use only if the providers retain the records for a reasonable amount of time."

Earlier this year, the Justice Department sparred with Google over a request for information on its customer searches. In March, a federal judge ordered the Mountain View, Calif.-based company to turn over some of the records demanded by the government.

Google initially had refused to give the government the information citing privacy concerns. Redmond, Wash.-based Microsoft, AOL and Sunnyvale, Calif.-based Yahoo! Inc. cooperated with the Justice Department. Yahoo is the most-visited U.S. Web site. Microsoft, the world's biggest software company, owns the MSN Internet service.

"We strongly support Attorney General Gonzales' interest in assuring that the Internet is safe for everyone, especially children and families," Phil Reitinger, senior security strategist for Microsoft, said in an e-mailed statement. "But data retention is a complicated issue with implications not only for efforts to combat child pornography but also for security, privacy, safety, and availability of low-cost or free Internet services."

One Internet executive familiar with the talks with the Justice Department said one worry is that once retained, the records could be made available for any criminal investigation or civil case, "down to a bad divorce, up to a music company asking for people who visited a file trading site."

I admit this article is good but it kinda scares me. Is terrorism and childporn a problem? Yes. Should online companies when they know of a possible terror attack or sexual abuse be mandated to report it, probobly. But I think what the government wants is a little bit to much. The best way to take away someones freedom of speach and information and privacy is to say there is this evil in this case child porn, that we have to stop. Then you get people to give up there own rights. Has it come to this yet no. But it looks like it could possibley if this passes. Whats to stop someone who works in the government to send an eltronic version of a supena to some internet company then that company sends that guy all your info. He is just one guy he could misuse your personal prvate information. When a crime is commited and the internet is used then the internet company should give all redords over to the authorities. But they shouldn't be forced to keep records of every e-mail of every user for two years. Once this passes then it will 5 years. Then it will be that keeping records is to much of a burden for internet providers. But guess what they can send the info to the government. Plus that way they don't need to bother them every time a crime is commited. And before you know it the government is not only wire taping private citizens they are monitoring web traffic and (e:mails). Who says that they then don't go after people who have decenting opinions. You may say that sounds crazzy but that is what the Chinesse government is trying to do with Yahoo and Google. It is verry easy for a country to turn into a tolotroin rule because they decide to give up there rights to feal safe. People really need to think about there freedom first and not let themselves and there own government be there own opressers
