The Coit House
414 Virginia Street, Buffalo, NY
House was built just after the War of 1812, and originally stood at Pearl and Swan Streets. In 1867 it was moved to its present location.

To move a house , i think, you'd first remove it from the foundation and then you'd split the structure in two halves and move it piece by piece, probably being pulled by horses in 1867.
