Buffalo Melting

I went on a nice spring walk today. God Buffalo sure doesn't shine in this season. Dog Poop everywhere! watch out while walking. I grabbed this photo and shopped it up a bit so it would represent my view of Buffalo in the Springtime.

But there seems to be some hope...

Zeus Has Risen!

The new little baby tortoise didn't eat in 2 weeks. He's sick but that's far too long of a time to go without any nutrients. We tried everything to encourage him to munch down, but nothing was working. We even took two trips to the VET to see the turtle specialist. She said she doesn't think there is much hope and he was "just born a weak one". :(

well, all of sudden yesterday at around 6pm he went over to check out his food bowl...here was the outcome...

Whats all this Green stuff always here for?

Hmmm, it smells kinda good.

Maybe if i taste a little bit it won't hurt...

Munch Munch Much Munch, Yum!!

HE HAS RISEN! Hallelujah! His appetite is strong and his eyes are clear. I think the little guy is going to be alright after all. That's why i think I'm gonna call him Jesus. (pronounced the Mexican way "Hey-Zeus") I'll probably just call him Zeus for short. Zeus the Tortoise.

Oh, and check out these beautiful orchid Ellen gave me for my Birthday, It has about a zillion blooms on it already, and if it's anything like the last one she gave me, it should have a bunch more to come.

Sick weekend

I didn't wake up today until 4 in the afternoon. I'm sick in bed, haven't been out of bed really at all today. I demand that everyone feels sorry for me! :) Anyways...it sucks cause I'm always sick on the weekends, never the weekday's when i have work. I think it's cause my immune systems slowly winds down by Thursday and Friday. Man, i need a better weekday sleeping schedule - I've been sayin' this for years. I was supposed to go to Toronto with Paul today. Too bad. maybe some other time. Time for more rest.

Hail to the Queen

After a long and painful sickness, the queen angelfish has passed on. I thought with time and care she would've made a recovery but every angelfish has their limit. She brought elegance and beauty to the pond, day in and day out. A friend to all who knew her, she will be missed dearly. Wow, these epitaphs are getting dramatic.

The Tree Frogs get a New Roomate
