Hungarian mushroom soup v2

In (e:heidi,55503) I made this Hungarian Mushroom Soup. I'm making it again, this time with the Hungarian half-sharp paprika and a selection of mushrooms. It's still brewing and it's already way better. I'm completely sold on the paprika. I had no idea it could have flavor. I thought it was just for coloring.

Hungarian mushroom soup

I made this recipe tonight

(substituting mushroom broth for the chicken broth and adding more fresh dill, fresh parsley, tamari, paprika and lemon juice). I was doubtful while making it but was very pleased with the result. I think I'd try it again with a mushroom medley instead of just portobello. The reviews suggest using a high quality Hungarian paprika instead of something ordinary.

Jalapeno?

I need one jalapeno for the mushroom soup I'm going to make, and I was walking home from the office so I stopped at price rite. You can't buy single jalapenos there. Wtf am I going to do with all of these??

Also I just saw an ad the other day that some alcohol maybe southern comfort has a variety with this in it so maybe there is some way to add it to a drink? Heard of something called Jalapeno poppers maybe applebee's ? so maybe make those what ever they are.....

One more: Chop the jalapeÃ±o into small pieces, heat a wok/fry pan, add some olive oil, season with mustard seed and generous coconut flakes, turn the stove off. Add the chopped jalapeÃ±os and swirl around for less than a minute). Blend to a fine paste in powerful blender, divide into small bits and freeze. Instant seasoning/heat/spice for future soups!

Take a HUGE piece of ginger, chop it into roughly same sized bits as the jalapeÃ±os. add chopped limes or lemons, salt VERY liberally. Store in a glass jar in the fridge for future use.
